Sloppy Joe Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tablespoon steak seasoning (or other all-purpose seasoning mix)
  • 1 can (15 oz) Hunt’s Tomato Sauce
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 package (2 tablespoons) Hunt’s Recipe Ready Tomato Paste
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 oz cream cheese, cubed
  • 3 cups shredded Colby-jack cheese
  • Corn chips or tortilla chips, for dipping

Directions

  • In a large, kitchen appliance proof cooking pan over medium-high heat, brown the bottom beef till grilled through, breaking it up because it cooks. Add the onion and cook for a couple of minutes, till the onion starts to melt. Add the cut of meat seasoning and stir to mix.
  • Add the pasta sauce, refined sugar, ingredient, vino vinegar, and sauce. Stir to mix and convey to a boil. cut back the warmth to low and simmer for quarter-hour, or till slightly thickened.
  • heat up the broiler.
  • Add the cheese and a couple of cups of the cheese and stir till the cheese is dissolved. close up the warmth and sprinkle the remaining cup of cheese over the highest. Place below the broiler simply till the cheese has dissolved and also the dip is effervescent, 3-5 minutes.
  • Serve the dip with corn chips or flannel-cake chips.
