Easy Salmon Chowder
Simple to make and filled with omega-3s, this clean Salmon chowder has potatoes and celery in a hearty chook soup base. It’s natural Alaskan comfort meals. INGREDIENTS
- 2 carrots, diced
- 1 celery stock, diced
- ½ onion, diced
- 4 red potatoes cut into a 2 inch dice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup corn kernels
- 4 cups clam juice or fish stock, chicken stock
- 1 package Easy Salmon
INSTRUCTION
Melt butter in a soup pot add carrots, celery, onion, potatoes and sauté gently for 5 mins.
add :
- 1 cup corn kernels
- four cups clam juice or fish stock, fowl inventory
- Simmer for 10 minutes
add :
- 1 package clean Salmon
- Simmer for five mins till fish is opaque
add :
- 1 pint half of and half
- Salt, pepper to taste (white pepper)
- Simmer (do no longer boil)
- Chives for garnish
