Miso Yaki Onigiri

Ingredients
- 2 cups uncooked rice
- 1 tbsp butter
Miso Paste
- 1/2 tbsp miso
- 1 tsp mirin
- 1 tsp sake
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp water
Toppings
- Shiso leaves Sesame seeds, and Chives for garnish
Directions
- Cook the rice by following the directions as per your rice cookware.
- whereas the rice is being sauteed, place all the miso paste ingredients along in a very bowl and blend well.
- Divide the sauteed rice into six parts.
- form and squish the rice in a very piece of cling wrap into a triangle form.
- Heat a pan over medium heat and add butter.
- Grill the Onigiri for regarding one minute on either side and coat with the butter.
- Brush the miso paste over either side of the rice balls and grill either side till tender.
- Serve with the garnishes.
