Fat Head Nachos
Ingredients
Fat Head Tortilla Chips
- 170 g pre-shredded/grated mozzarella
- 85 g almond meal/flour
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- 1 egg
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander/cilantro powder
- pinch chilli powder
Nacho Meat Sauce
- 1 red onion diced
- 500 g ground/mince beef
- 400 g tinned/canned tomatoes diced
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder, or to taste
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
Topping Options
- guacamole
- salsa
- shredded/grated cheese
- sour cream
- jalapeƱos
Instructions
Nacho Meat Sauce
- Gently fry the diced onion in oil till clear then add the meat, breaking it up into small items because it cooks and browns. this could take up to five minutes.
- Add the spices and tinned/canned tomato and fixings. Stir then simmer on an occasional heat for quarter-hour (uncovered to thicken the meat sauce) while you create the Fat Head hot cake chips and toppings.
Fat Head hot cake Chips
- combine the shredded/grated cheese and almond flour/meal during a microwaveable bowl. Add the cheese. Microwave on HIGH for one minute.
- Stir then microwave on HIGH for one more thirty seconds. take away and stir once more. Add the egg, salt, and spices. Mix.
- Place the Fat Head pastry between a pair of items of baking parchment/paper and roll into a skinny, parallelogram (see photos here). take away the highest baking paper/parchment.
- Slide the baking paper/parchment with the Fat Head pastry, on a baking receptacle (cookie tray) or dish stone, and bake at 220C/425F for 12-15 minutes, or till tanned on the highest. Flip the zany pastry over (onto baking paper/parchment) and brown the opposite aspect.
- Once baked, take away from the kitchen appliance and delve corn chip triangle shapes. Bake once more at 220C/425F for three - five minutes.
Putting It all at once
- Place one or two of Fat Head hot cake chips on a plate or dish.
- Spoon the recent meat sauce over the hot cake chips.
- Add the grated/shredded cheese which can soften on the recent meat sauce all by itself, then prime with everything you like. Serve with an enormous aspect dish and many of vegetable oil (optional).
